JRD BIPEL are specialists in the design and manufacture of hydraulic presses to customer specifications.

Successful candidate will work as part of a small highly skilled team of engineers.

The Role – Control System Design Engineer

. PLC Programming and SCADA

. Design and produce electrical schematics and BOM.

· In house testing of hydraulic Presses and associated equipment.

· Provide on-site user training.

· Provide technical support to service engineers and customers.

· Liaise with customers at all levels in a professional manner, in order to promote a positive company image at all times.

· The role is UK based with a very rare overseas travel.

Essential Requirements for this Role are:

· Excellent knowledge and ability to program Siemens and Omron PLC

· Good knowledge with electrical components parts

· Understanding of hydraulic systems is a bonus.

· A minimum five year experience in automation environment

. Ability to work with minimal supervision and to support panel and machine wirers

· Full valid driving licence.

. Prepared to travel to customer site to support projects
