Finance Manager

We're looking for an ambitious and motivated Finance Manager (or aspiring Finance Manager) to join us on that journey.

This role is ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their career. You might already be operating at a senior level or looking for your first move into a Finance Manager position. Either way, you'll be supported to grow, develop your skills, and make a real impact across the business.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day finance operations across the group, gaining exposure to a broad range of responsibilities while building your confidence and experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Producing monthly management accounts with support where needed
• Assisting with balance sheet management (accruals, prepayments, fixed assets)
• Supporting cash flow forecasting and working capital management
• Helping to manage credit control and debtor processes
• Contributing to budgeting and variance analysis
• Reviewing client and contract performance
• Supporting intercompany reconciliations and cross-charges
• Assisting with payroll, VAT returns, and compliance
• Supporting the annual audit and working with external accountants
• Acting as a point of contact for banks, HMRC, and finance providers (with guidance)
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate
• Contributing ideas to improve financial processes and systems

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with strong foundations in finance who is eager to step up, learn, and take on more responsibility.

You will ideally be:

• Experienced in producing or supporting monthly management accounts
• Keen to take ownership and continue developing your skills
• Confident communicating with colleagues and stakeholders
• Analytical, organised, and detail-focused
• Commercially aware, or eager to build this understanding
• Interested in mentoring or supporting others as you grow
• Strong in Excel and comfortable using finance systems (Xero experience is a plus)

You don't need to have done everything before-what matters most is your attitude, willingness to learn, and readiness to step into a broader role.
