About the role:
Joining our inclusive and multicultural team, you will bring your own experiences and perspectives to support creating a better environment for our employees and students, enhancing the health and wellbeing of our community. You will be:
- Vacuuming and cleaning of rooms, corridors and toilet facilities, using machines, brushes, mops and dusters as appropriate.
- Providing general support and directions for our visitors and students.
- Assisting with setting up conferences within the University, e.g. displaying signs, setting up rooms, and assisting conference delegates with any general questions.
- Reporting any repairs or replacements that you see need attention.
- Supporting office maintenance, e.g. changing light bulbs, cleaning of carpets and windows as requested.
- Undertaking health and safety training to include lifting and carrying as required.

About you:
You will take pride in all that you do and enjoy working as part of a dynamic team, as well as being confident to work independently.
As it's vital that we deliver the highest levels of health and safety you will be comfortable achieving these as well having an understanding of our COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) requirements. We will provide training on any knowledge gaps and for your own continual development.
You will also be able to demonstrate good time management skills and use of initiative
